An homage to lesbian pulp fiction novels of the fifties. We eavesdrop at an art opening and from the overheard gossip construct a story of Max and Jesse falling into lust and love. This work was originally interactive movies created in Flash. With the demise of Flash, it can only be viewed as a linear film captured as it was played one last time.
MIXED GREENS (2004):
A tasty salad about identity, belonging and the things we desire. Four generations of Citron’s Irish Jewish heritage played against four decades of lesbian life in America challenges ideas about the rewards and price of assimilation.
